Just bought these Sanuk's for a trip to Mexico....Fantastic!....highly versatile...I wore these to the beach, pool, a couple excursions, hiking and even to a couple dress code required dinners....didn't have to bring a pair of shoes which was nice.. U can get away with wearing these almost anywhere

FYI- I usually wear a size 10 Men's sneaker, but I purchased a size 9 in store and they fit perfectly so u want to buy a size lower

Well worth the money, although I've only been wearing them for about a month

these are the most comfortable shoes (sandals) i have every worn. i wear them everyday for everything i stand on concrete all day with them and my feet do not hurt the least little bit and i highly recommend them.

Fit great but I would suggest going up a 1/2 size (not down) if you wear 1/2 sizes. To those who say this shoe needs arch support your missing the point. These shoes are by their nature designed to work your foot similar to being barefoot. This means all your little muscles do their job and you will stretch others as well.

As someone who usually wears Keens, Birks and New Balance shoes I was surprised when I started to develop plantar fasciitis in both feet. I picked up the Sanuk Donny on a whim one day after trying them on never intending to wear them except at the beach/boat. After wearing these for over a month semi-regularly and massaging my arch with a golf ball I'm feeling much better. Oddly enough the more I read the more I feel like the modern day shoe with all it's arch support and cushioning is actually bad for our feet in the long run.

Go barefoot or buy shoes that allow natural movement when you must cover up.

I reviewed this product too early. They are comfortable, for only for a limited time, at least for me. I am a bigger guy and I really need more arch support and cushion. For someone who is lighter around the waist, I would imagine these would work well. As far as breathing well, the first time I wore these for about two hours and they did not smell very good when I took them off. For me, these shoes do not work. As I said before though, I imagine if I was lighter around the waist, I would love them. I will continue to stick to flip flops and leather boat shoes.

The reason I bought these shoes was because I was going into the mountains of Nicaragua on a mission trip and wanted some light and cool shoes. They held up well. I have started wearing them around the office and shopping and they feel good. They were good for walking but not soo good for standing around for hours on a concrete surface. I wear a size 10-10.5 and bought a size 11. The fit is good.

I bought these because I get tired of wearing mostly flip-flops or boat shoes during the summer. These seemed to be a little bit of both. I'm glad I did. I have only had these for a couple of weeks, but I can see myself buying many more in the future. They are light weight, breathable, and very comfortable. I even use them as house slippers. I will just have to wait and see if they hold up well. So far so good. The only reason I gave it a four star rating is because I would like to see them made with some arch support. Put arch support in them and I don't know if I would ever by another kind of casual shoe. They look good with everything from jeans, to shorts, and even my sleep pants.

I wear thesis shoe every day and they are great, get so many comments about the color and the way they look. but they are great for comfort, lightweight and even camp shoes, but I would not sugest taking a hike in them.

These are my favorite foot wear that i have ever owned. I must say over 50 dollars is a bit steap, but i have more than got my money's worth. I bought these early this summer and have worn them everyday since. I am a size 11, but i needed a size 12 since i have wide feet, so keep that in mind. I have been a flip-flop guy since the day i was born, and i still wear them alot, but if i'm going out anywhere i wear these and a pair of jeans. I even wear them to work in the office. I get compliments everywhere i go. I'm actually a little bummed out that Crocs has just come out with a similar version, but i will always own sanuks!! These are The Ultimate Sidewalk Surfers!

Love The Donny!!!
I bought these last summer and promptly wore them through all three days of The ACL Music Festival!! Long food lines, long Port-O-Can lines, long walks to and from the parking lots... they were all easy-peasy in these bad boys. So comfy that trying them on in the store sells them! They however don't hold up so well to exposure to campfires! I'll be buying a new pair soon.

Get compliments all the time, really comfortable, usually wear an 11 but had to go with a 12 with these. Only complaint, the outsoles are already started to split after a month.
