Comments about Backpacker's Pantry Granola with Bananas and Milk - 2 Servings:

My favorite breakfast on the trail. It truly is 2 servings and I can eat a lot. I used boiling water instead of cold, I think it always turns out better. It was hard to believe, the first time trying it, that it was a freeze dried meal. Very filling and gave me a good boost in the morning to get back on the trail. Highly recommended!

Comments about Backpacker's Pantry Granola with Bananas and Milk - 2 Servings:

Over a 2 week backpacking trip, we had granola from the big 4 in dehydrated food - Mountain House, Natural High, and Backpacker pantry. While we are partial to bananas, this was our favorite granola because of its crunchy texture and good banana flavor. We ate it with boiling water rather than cold water.

Comments about Backpacker's Pantry Granola with Bananas and Milk - 2 Servings:

If you like sugar breakfast cereals then you might like this one. Bananas are hard to find in it. You can do a lot better making your own breakfast cereal and take it along in a zip-lock bag.

Comments about Backpacker's Pantry Granola with Bananas and Milk - 2 Servings:

This was one of the favs. in our yurt. I had brought the blueberry as well. That one is a 3.5 stars. The bannana/milk and granola was great. It is truly 2 servings. I could eat this at home. The flavour was great.

Comments about Backpacker's Pantry Granola with Bananas and Milk - 2 Servings:

Meals don't get easier than this. As long as your heart is not set on a hot meal, this is the way to go in the morning...simply add water and eat. I liked the granola with blueberries so much, I had to try the bananas and was not disappointed. It tastes very much like a good granola at home with fresh bananas.

This can also work well as a snack. We often will eat this on a day where we are hiking an extended number of miles and don't have time to stop or the day is long (similar to a hiking day of 7 AM - 7 PM). There is more sustenance than a power bar and doesn't take any longer to prepare.

Comments about Backpacker's Pantry Granola with Bananas and Milk - 2 Servings:

Add two cups of water, stir, wait a mintue or two and dig in. I happend to bring this on a recent walk across the MD piece of the AT trail and tried it. I thought it was a great breakfast food. The portion was huge so next time Im going to split it in half. Im not a breakfast person but this gave me great energy with a decent mix of protien, carbs, fiber, etc.
