Comments about REI Mountain 2 Footprint:
If you like to camp in ALL kinds of weather, you should use a tent footprint. This one fits the tent well and it is definitely waterproof. This will go a long way to making your rainy nite out a dry one. If nothing else it gives you a clean place to fold up your tent!

Comments about REI Mountain 2 Footprint:
So you have already purchased the REI Mountain 2 tent. Why not spend a little more to protect the floor? It's color-coded and, when packed, is just a little larger than my hand. Well worth it to extend the life of your tent. Plus, with the Mountain 2 rainfly and poles, it can double as a minimalist shelter, which I haven't tried yet but look forward to in the near future.

Comments about REI Mountain 2 Footprint:
I use this everytime I use my Mountain 2 tent. It fits perfectly and protects my tent from sharp rocks and twigs that would otherwise puncture the tent floor.
