Comments about Mirrycle Brass Duet Incredibell:

Comments about Mirrycle Brass Duet Incredibell:
This bell sounds better than the others. But the bracket was poorly conceived. Way too small for anything I own.
So I used a zip-tie - putting it through the hole and around the main body. Easy solution and works great.

Comments about Mirrycle Brass Duet Incredibell:
Actually the screw didn't end up working. I had to use a long ziptie to secure it to the bike.

Comments about Mirrycle Brass Duet Incredibell:
My bars were too wide to use the long-screw method, but I was able to install by modifying the bell, then using a zip tie to attach. Modifications: Cut the bottom half of strap off, drill a horizontal hole in the base below the bell for the zip tie, and notch the base on the screw-side to help seat the zip tie. (The plastic is not brittle so easy to work with.) Why all the fuss? Because the Duet is the best-sounding bell on the market!
Comments about Mirrycle Brass Duet Incredibell:
Bell comes with a M4 x 22mm screw and doesn't fit around my bike. I think if I try the longer screw idea -- I will try a M4x30mm screw.

Comments about Mirrycle Brass Duet Incredibell:
The thing is pretty darn loud and sounds great... but the bracket is less than an inch thick! You can't mount it to anything!

Comments about Mirrycle Brass Duet Incredibell:
Compared to many other bells on the market that use a lever, this bell is one of the few that has a consistent volume level regardless of how quickly or slowly that the user pushes the lever.
The volume level of most other bells on the market is determined by how much force (or the speed of the finger) the user applies to ring the bell.
This bell isn't the case, which is a really good thing.

Comments about Mirrycle Brass Duet Incredibell:
This bell is simple, compact, and has a clear, loud double-ding sound. Too bad it doesn't fit my handlebars. I have drop handlebars which taper towards the ends, and I suspect that it might fit the thinner part. However, I just put new tape on, and I don't want to pull off perfectly good tape to find out. I'll be returning it soon if I can't find some way to attach it within easy reach.

Comments about Mirrycle Brass Duet Incredibell:
This is a very aesthetic bike bell with a lovely sound. Unfortunately, the clamping mechanism is only 7/8" in diameter so it cannot be installed on most (probably all?) bikes made for adults. It certainly can't be used on either of our two road bikes so I am returning it.

Comments about Mirrycle Brass Duet Incredibell:
This is great. I got one for my son's bike. It works every time: it's loud and reliable. Not like the flaky bells of my youth. I'm coming back for more, including one for me!
