Comments about Yakima HighRoller Bike Mount:
If you've got a bigger bike, whether it be a 10 inch travel downhill monster or a 4 inch cross country, this rack will not dissappoint. I ride a pretty beastly all-mountain/freeride built up for downhill that I purchased this rack for. Not only is it strong and holds the bikes very snug, but you get your bike on/off the rack in about 30 seconds, it's that easy.
Highly recommended product.
Comments about Yakima HighRoller Bike Mount:
Bought through REI Outlet. Great product. However worst transaction I have ever had with REI. Probably will return and buy elsewhere out of principle based on the customer service I received.

Comments about Yakima HighRoller Bike Mount:
Yakima made a home run with this. Easy to use. Easy to install. Easy to adjust. While the bike may sway a lot, it is always secure.
The Red knob... in order to push in, you have to unscrew enough, then push up on the loop to remove the load on the knob, then push on the knob to fully release.

Comments about Yakima HighRoller Bike Mount:
This is hands down the best rack on the market. Its super easy to use and keeps your bike in place. I have a Giant Trance Advanced with 2.1 tires and mine does not "wobble" at all. I have mine on an SUV so because of the height; it's somewhat difficult to get at. I had the fork mount prior and the only pro to the fork mount is you can hold your fork when securing down your bike, which is more stable. When holding the wheel the bike can sway back and forth before getting it secure but the front of the tire holder does help with support. If you have a car and can still hold your bikes fork when loaded, then this will not be an issue for you at all and loading is a breeze. Installation is very easy, took me about 7 minutes for each one I installed. The only negative is this will only fit on a few bars. The round Yakima bars are obviously fine and I believe the square Thule bars are fine as well; you just have to modify the adaptors, which Yakima gives instructions on how to do. This will not mount directly on your cars factory crossbars. However, Yakima makes a rack called the front loader that will fit on your factory crossbars. While it's not quite as easy as this one it's still a great rack. The front loader also locks to your bars were as the highroller does not lock to your bars. If someone knew how to take the rack off, say goodbye to your bike and/or your rack.

Comments about Yakima HighRoller Bike Mount:
This is a great bike mount, it holds almost any bike. I mainly use it for transporting my mountain bike. Other than the many Pros this item has. The only Con I have is because I use it unconventionally in the bed of my truck, is that it comes just a little too close to the rear window. Now I can simply turn the mount around to face the rear or modify it. Any way you look at it... This is a really great mount!!!

Comments about Yakima HighRoller Bike Mount:
Yakima adds a lock strap to the mount which forces you to go out and buy one of their expensive locks to use it and you have no choice but to use it or it will just hang there and fly in the wind - I almost considered just cutting the thing off. Odd is the fact that the mount itself can't be locked down, so if someone wanted to steal your bike they could just take your mount off. I think yakima just wanted to sell more locks! I bought another lock and now I have to use two different keys for my Yakima gear - so much for SKS (same key system).

Comments about Yakima HighRoller Bike Mount:
I have this rack installed on my 1999 Jeep Cherokee factory crossbars and it easily sits next to my Yakima Powderhound without interfering with the functionality of the ski rack. No extenders/adaptors are needed to use this rack in combination with other racks on the top of your small to midsize SUV.
This rack holds up very well in high wind, interstate driving conditions. I drove with my bike on this rack from Dillon, CO to north central Kansas during 25-35 mph northwest winds with gusts up to 60 with no problems. The bike wiggled some in the rack but did not develop a lean despite strong crosswinds. During this trip a large tumbleweed blew across the interstate and got caught up in the bike. Despite this, the rack held the bike steady. It does make a whining noise due to wind but it's not a deafening noise nor should it cause alarm. In sum, I would feel confident driving with my bike in this rack in almost any conditions.
The rack took me less than 10 minutes to install on my crossbars and folds down nicely when not in use. The locking cable is a nice feature and easy to use.

Comments about Yakima HighRoller Bike Mount:
I got this bike mount at an REI garage sale last season and used it with my Haro 29er bike. It was easy to install and at first I thought that it won't work with fairing on but worked fine, not like the King Cobra where I needed to remove the fairing to move the swing bar of the mount.
I already have two Vipers but I'm planning to replace them with another one of these. The mount is a little heavier than the Viper and puts more drag on the aerodynamics of your vehicle even with fairing due to its bigger size. I highly recommend this product to those who have 20mm thru-axle fork bikes or those who doesn't want to remove their from tires.

Comments about Yakima HighRoller Bike Mount:
You get what you pay for, this thing is expensive but it looks good, easy to use, and is strong. it is still scary for me to go around turns fast because there is some wobble in the bike from side to side when you turn, but the bike is secure, it may not always look secure but its not gonna go anywhere, just wobbles a little, my road bike also fits on this pretty well but it wobbles even more.
Im only 5'5" so its a little hard for me to put my bike up on this rack, but its doable, just got to put a little back into it!

Comments about Yakima HighRoller Bike Mount:
Love the new racks. I got them for Mother's day. My husband is 6'5" he loads the bikes easily. No fault of the racks, I just can't reach. Don't forget to put the back strap back in place. :-)
