Comments about Michelin Country Rock Tire - 26 x 1.75:
I purchased these so I could enjoy using my mountain bike around town but still hit the occastioanl gravel/dirt path. These tires were inexpensive, very easy to install, and roll well. They have plenty of grip and can accommodate pressures up to 73psi. I am very pleased with my purchase.

tires have given excellent service over 2 years and 2000 miles. Very little wear - good for at least another 1000.

Comments about Michelin Country Rock Tire - 26 x 1.75:
out of all the tires ive had on my trek 4500 so far these is by far the best. I mainly stay to the road, harder trails and field crossings to get where im going through town. i come from a big BMX freestyle background and these tires can take a good 4ft drop without a problem. they get alittle slippy in wet mud/clay but there not knobbys so this is expected. ive had no problems with flats and have put about 350-400 miles on them so far with out problems. i wish they made these in a 2.0 or at least a 1.90

Comments about Michelin Country Rock Tire - 26 x 1.75:
I converted my mountain bike into a commuter bike ~4 years ago, and I've been purchasing these tires every year or so as replacements when the previous set is worn out. These Michelin tires roll smoothly and are a big improvement over the knobby mud tires. They are light-weight and roll very easily. The price is right too, as these are relatively inexpensive.
The Country Rock tire lacks puncture resistance, but I have only had flats on rare occasions. Additionally, my commute is short (~4 miles each way) so I can tolerate that rare flat tire.
I'm looking forward to upgrading to the Michelin City Tire, which has a different tread and puncture resistance, just to compare it to the Country Rock. In the meantime, I'm very happy with these tires.

Comments about Michelin Country Rock Tire - 26 x 1.75:
I am pretty new to MTB'ing bike I bought came with a 2.14" WTB Raptor tire. Since I am new and mostly just ride around streets and paths I dont need an aggressive tire. I found I had near zero coasting ability, which was great for the exercise part, but drained on the enjoyment. I decided to try these since the cost was low. Wow what a difference, adds about 2mph across my normal rides. Its more enjoyable to ride now and I ride more and longer. Think ice skating vs. walking through two feet of water. They are very light, which equals thin, but I have not had any punctures yet. If I was a serious commuter I would probably spend more on a tougher tire, as the flat excuse is only going to go so far at work.

Comments about Michelin Country Rock Tire - 26 x 1.75:
ive put about 200 miles on this tire so far and it seems to be doing well. im using it primarily as my commuting / road tires on my mtb. the first thing i noticed was good low rolling resistance. this past wknd i did a metric century on these tires and they held up very well, besides the two flats that i got (all on paved roads...). the tire carcass doesnt have much of flat protection. if they did, they'd probably be much heavier. other than that, these are pretty good tires.

Comments about Michelin Country Rock Tire - 26 x 1.75:
I commute on pavement regularly in frequently wet and rainy conditions. The tire is great in the rain and rolls smoothly. I have experienced two problems with durability - cuts from glass which led to punctures, and dry rot on the side walls - I switch over to studs in the winter and stored my last pair of country rocks indoors for the winter. This spring revealed dry rot cracks in the sidewalls which produced a sidewall blowout/flat in a couple of weeks.

Comments about Michelin Country Rock Tire - 26 x 1.75:
These are great tires, so great in fact that they were stolen off of my bike wheels and all just a week after I bought them.
These tires were the perfect commuting tires and I never had flats like the other reviewer. I ride 10 miles a day to work and these are very dependable tires.
