    Comments about BlueWater II Plus 7/16'' Static Rope:

    I have this rope in 2 sizes, 150' of the 11.4 and 200' of the 9.5. Very nice rope that holds up well. The larger size can get pretty heavy so I wouldn't want to carry more than 150' of it. The 9.5 is perfect and I wouldn't feel comfortable on anything skinnier. But that's just me. If you are looking for a well-made rope with a great reputation that may not look as flashy as some of the others, this is a good choice.

      I think this is the best rope REI sells. I've used it for rappelling, rescues, top roping and just about everything else, it's the best stuff around. I've never found a better price, and I own plenty of it. Very little stretch, even under heavy load. Only thing I will say is that it's heavy, but strong rope is always heavy.
