One size fits most

Fitting an Electra bike is easy. Start by setting the saddle to its lowest position and then stand over it with both feet flat on the ground. Next, simply raise the saddle until it rests in the crotch. Tighten it in place, and that's it—you're done! After an initial break-in period you might notice your bicycle performing less responsively than the day you brought it home. Not to worry, this is typical of all new bicycles and simply reflects that cables have stretched or their housings have seated themselves into final position.All bicycles sold at REI include a free warranty tune-up. New bikes go through a normal break-in period, after which readjustment is important for longevity and performance. Bring your new bike in to your local REI for its free tune-up within 20 hours of use or 6 months from purchase, whichever comes first. Contact your nearest REI bike shop to schedule this important service.

Bought this for mom's day gift and it was a welcome gift. my only complaint is that the electra front loading basket doesn't handle a load of groceries without shifting underneath the weight. i've tightened and readjusted it several times. Overall. awesome bike.

I enjoy this bike so much cruising around on the trails and the flat parts of the city together with my little schnauzer in his doggyride mini bike trailer. So much fun...a cute bike and a cute trailer.

This bike was a gift from my kids and I love it. I ride it most days weather permitting and my dog runs along side with her matching leash. I have red saddle bags to carry her toys etc to the lake. We are never happier than on this bike!! I feel like a kid again and totally free. It is such a pleasure to ride! I keep telling the kids I want to bring it in the house in the winter so I can look at it!! LOVE THIS BIKE!

I actually purchased the Hawaii Custom 3 in Purple with Lime Green rims and I love my bike. I live 5 miles from work and have commuted on it since February. Now that we are heading into summer here in AZ, I just get up to ride for an hour before it gets too hot. I love this bike! It's helped me rediscover the joy of fitness and healthy living.

With the price of gas, I decided to start riding my bike to work. I have a 2 mile commute and my bike gets me there in comfort and style! I have other bikes (mountain and road) but this one is definitely my favorite. It goes really fast too!
