Comments about Injinji Performance-Series Original-Weight Crew Toesocks:
I sweat a lot, have tried various toe socks, and these are one of the best socks for perspiration and well designed and fits well. Injinji is one of my two favorite brands.
HOWEVER, I'm a little disappointed of the pilling of the cotton on the bottom of the socks after a month of use. This may be due to the quality of the cotton fabrics, the weaving, or the length of the fibers. Please do something about the pilling. Both pairs I bought pilled at the soles.
Also, the other brands of toe socks have mid-calf lengths and below-the-knee lengths. This brand only has crew length…
Will I return my pairs? No… I like them enough to keep it.
Will I buy more? No… Not worth the pilling or the crew length to purchase more.

Comments about Injinji Performance-Series Original-Weight Crew Toesocks:
I haven't experienced the same wear issues other reviewers seem to have. Most of the wear and tear on any of my socks come from walking around the house on my tile floors.
Given the cost of these socks, I've taken to wearing slippers, regular socks, or nothing on my feet around the house. But when wearing these socks with my toe shoes - whether the mesh body VFF Treksport Multisport shoes or the kangaroo leather body VFF Treksport LS and Bormio boots - my feet don't get too hot on warm days or too cold on cold days.

Comments about Injinji Performance-Series Original-Weight Crew Toesocks:
As an avid trail runner (50K, 50M, 100M runs), I would not wear anything else as a liner. After some runs before I tried these funny looking socks, I could get 10-12 blisters on both feet. With Injinjis, even 100M runs have been done with NO hotspots or blisters. I have worn Injinjis since they first came out, on wet, dry, rocky, muddy trails and snow. Some question the durability, but I do not consider that an issue considering what I put them through. And I quit carrying moleskin and all the other blister first aid stuff on long runs years ago.
I hope Injinji will make the mid weight sock in a crew size, but that is personal preference. On a trail out in the middle of nowhere where blisters could reduce running to hobbling, if my feet are comfortable, I consider the cost money well spent.

The individual toes gives one a great advantage in balance and, especially, cornering. Only one recurring problem I've noticed; the stitching between the toes seems to unravel a bit too easily. Perhaps a better knot?

Comments about Injinji Performance-Series Original-Weight Crew Toesocks:
I invested in 2 pairs of these thinking they would be comfortable, last me a while, and work with my Chacos. Unfortunately, they started to develop holes and thin spots with less than a week's worth of wear! I was not even using them that hard, doing any major hiking, or giving them any harsh treatment. I only weigh 160 lbs and I keep my toenails trimmed.
First, they developed holes at the big toes, then the heels started to wear thin, pretty soon my toes were sticking out and I could feel the sole of my shoes through the heel!
I have NEVER had socks wear out this quickly. Not even since I was a kid wearing cheap socks and running outside with them.
If I only had one pair then I might think that it was faulty, but both pairs failed in the same ways with VERY little use. After about two weeks I stopped using them because I was afraid they were gonna be destroyed. I have saved them since then, but I probably should have returned them right away.

I was excited to receive my injinji socks on Christmas, so I put them on right away. People thought they were funny looking, but honestly that is one of the reasons I like them. How disappointed I was that after one wash there were threads coming out, especially in the most vulnerable parts, the toes.
Another thing, I put these on my christmas wish list because I wasn't willing to buy them myself. They were just too costly.
All that being said, I love wearing them. I just wish the were longer lasting and sold at a more reasonable price. I look forward to future Injinji socks that fix these issues.

I bought these to wear in my toe shoes, and they are wonderful. They are thin enough to fit inside nicely and keep my feet perfectly warm. Hah! They are fantastic. Though, I have only had mine for a short while and have seen elsewhere that they wear out quickly. I'm hoping not.

socks are made of nice soft materal, wicks moisture away. now the bad part, they slouch they will not stay up, it drove me nuts. for the price you would think they would stay in place. if you want a pair, i would suggest getting the ankle length because thats where these end up around your ankle.

These are the most comfortable socks I have worn in my life! The problem is the two pairs I bought both have holes worn in the toes in just a couple of months. It is too bad I don't live close to an REI anymore or I would return these for a refund.

Comments about Injinji Performance-Series Original-Weight Crew Toesocks:
Last summer I walked across the country (San Francisco to DC). After the first week I was developing bad blisters in between my toes. A friend then took me to REI for the first time. I explained my problem and they recommended these socks. I bought one pair and ended up wearing them every day the following week. After that I bought 4 more pairs. The socks all lasted the whole trip. I never got a single blister while wearing them. I will warn though, they are left and right specific, so it can be quite difficult to find a pair in a crazy sock drawer.
