Comments about Injinji Performance-Series Original-Weight Micro Toesocks:
I have flat feet and had to wear orthotics all the time. Five Finger Shoes and these socks combinded with Merrell Barefoot Shoes have allowed me to strengthen my feet and not have to wear orthotics anymore. Hallelujah!

Comments about Injinji Performance-Series Original-Weight Micro Toesocks:
I've used two pairs of these socks for the better part of a year. I wear them as often & long as I can with my Vibram Five Fingers--almost daily, even in the winter around the house--and wash them frequently. They don't slip down and bunch up like so many anklet styles do on me and are true to size for me. Aside from minor pilling which doesn't show above the shoes or bother me, they show no other wear after lots of easy & hard use (incl. regular, vigorous hikes), and many washer/dryer cycles. Except when in flip-flops & sandals, I hate wearing shoes without socks, so these are a big deal to me. I'm very happy with them & highly recommend!

Bought these and did a 10 mile run in hot, damp, showery conditions. Feet felt great, dry, no blisters, no soreness. These are the best - I'm buying more.

Comments about Injinji Performance-Series Original-Weight Micro Toesocks:
I use these, primarily at least, in combination with my FiveFingers Bikilas. However, I also have another pair that I will wear out in the garden with my KSOs, and even to play softball in. The socks themselves are great, though if you're not used to the separate toe issue, then it may be just that for you, an issue. However, once adapted to the socks and/or shoes you're wearing, you'll either love them or hate them (just try not to be biased going into it). But, after wearing them for a few months my grey pair started to discolor, a hole started opening on top of my right big toe sock, and the bottom left big toe looked like it was burned, though there was no hole developing and they are never put in the dryer--only on my feet to put my feet inside my shoes. My black pair of micro mini's has fared very well, without the discoloration that the grey pair has experienced (prior to returning them for another pair they became yellow, brown/black [the "burned" portion at least], and slightly green in areas).[...] it's hard to pass these up as they have made running in my FiveFingers generally odor free, and provide an extra layer of warmth in the winter months that I would not have if I had gone sock-less. While they are not the thickest in terms of cushion or warmth, they hold their own and are similar to other running socks I've had without feeling as awkward as some do that are more evidently clear in their design to be moisture wicking. All in all, they're great socks, low profile, help with moisture, reduce blisters, and feel nice to wear, but they tend to wear quicker than other, more traditional, running socks I've had in the past and the grey pairs seems to discolor while the black/white stay truer to their color (over the same 6 month period with similar use patterns at least).

I've gotten corns between last two toes. Keeps them from rubbing. I wear fairly often. Because my last 3 toes are bunched, I struggle to get them on. Once they're on I like the way they feel.

Comments about Injinji Performance-Series Original-Weight Micro Toesocks:
Prior to buying a pair of these I had been using Nike Dri-Fit socks and was very happy with their ability to wick moisture, however I was looking for something to separate between the toes. After purchasing these and wearing them while running I discovered the material doesn't perform as well as the Nike Dri-Fit material. These are good for most activities with the exception of running, or other situations where your feet may heavily perspire.

Comments about Injinji Performance-Series Original-Weight Micro Toesocks:
I started wearing these a couple of years ago and love them for any kind of strenuous activity. I started wearing them regularly while playing tennis because after a full day on the courts my shoes get swampy and I'd start to get blisters. Anyone who plays tennis knows your feet take a beating. These socks completely prevent blistering. I often layer a very thin micro sock over the top of them and they keep my feet very comfy and protected. This additional layer has the added benefit of keeping my shoes relatively fresh over time. These socks do pick up a little more odor than do regular socks but it seems natural because they're all over your toes wicking away the moisture. That's what doing laundry and taking showers is for though, right? I wouldn't say the odor is out of control, just increased compared to your average sock. I use them regularly across different sports and I'm an avid runner and cyclist. My feet feel naked without them.
I've experienced none of the sizing issues that another user commented about, and I've got about 10 pairs of these. The fit has been consistent and the socks have worn well. Try a pair and see how they work out for you.

Finally a sock that protects each toe. Now that I use these, my toes are much happier; no more blisters on the toes. Wicks away moisture from the foot and toes keeping them all happy on marathon training runs. Only drawbacks are that they are thin (wear out quickly) and not cushioned like other running socks.

First I should mention that REI has the one of the pictures wrong for these socks. The micro-minis are the shorter ones that don't go up your ankle. REI has the grey minis pictured in one photo.
The socks! They look fantastic! They feel like someone is hugging your feet! They are great for wearing around town, or for a run! I wish there were more colors in stock!!!!
