Rated4out of5byaerochicafromGreat!Comfy new boots! Wore them slogging through mud hiking a volcano - they provided great traction and kept my feet nice and dry.

Rated4out of5byJenner286fromComfortable and StableAfter years on the trail my feet decided they were too tired and sore to continue. After getting these boots I'm able to get back into the dirt and go. They feel like walking on clouds and but there's nothing dainty about them. I haven't tried them in the cold or wet but on the chilly day I wore them I had to drop all my other outer wear to keep cool so I know they will stand up.

Rated5out of5byDoctor ZfromTo the top of AfricaI bought these boots knowing they would be used to hike Kilimanjaro, so I wanted them to be waterproof with good support, and fairly light-weight. They required very little break-in and were comfortable for short training hikes and more intense climbing. They held up very well during our Kili trek, had excellent traction on large rock surfaces, and provided great support, especially for the way down. (I counted several should-have-been sprained ankles that I avoided because of great support). The only downside (and I mean only) is that they don't have rubber reinforced toes, so there are several dings in the toes from kicking rocks. Still waterproof, so it's mostly a cosmetic issue right now; I imagine they will still hold up to plenty of wear.

Rated4out of5byEBKermitfromGreat general purpose bootI have used these for hiking in the rain forest in Costa Rica as well as in Oregon and I think they are great, especially for the price. Very comfortable and good ankle support. No complaints here. My husband has the male version and his only complaint is that we match. :D
