Comments about White Lightning Trigger Chain Cleaner:
On the good side, this is an all-in-one product that gets the job done. The spray cleaner really works and gets your chain clean.
However, every time I used this I felt like I needed a third hand. You have to pull tight on the trigger to keep the mechanism on the chain, and push the spray can button, and turn the cranks on the bike. If you can get someone to turn the cranks for you, it's a breeze. Otherwise, it's very unwieldy.
I now use the Park chain scrubber instead. It is much easier to use and does as good a job.

Comments about White Lightning Trigger Chain Cleaner:
The cleaner is really powerful and contrary to what another reviewer said you are NOT stuck using this brand of cleaner. The collar of the brush attachment happens to fit onto Finish Line Speed degreaser and works equally well. The micro-hose fits the spray nozzle too. I also like that all you have to do is close the brushes around the chain, hold the trigger with your finger, press the nozzle with thumb and turn the crank, really easy setup and cleans really well. Have newspaper or something under the bike to dump onto.
Mine finally quit holding onto the can after about two seasons.

Comments about White Lightning Trigger Chain Cleaner:
I originally purchased this because of the price. This set seemed cheaper than most of the others. However, it works well. The solvent works wonders on a dirty chain, and after a few revolutions and some wiping with a rag your chain will become squeaky clean. As it's in a can, the solvent will work on anything else on the bike you want without removing it. I'm on my second can of the degreaser and the plastic cleaner is still going fine. The chain cleaner feels a bit cheap, but I think that it'll last a good year or so before needing to be replaced.
My only real complaint so far would be the fact that you are stuck with this brand of canned degreaser when you buy this chain cleaner. Because of the way the solvent gets into the cleaner, it needs to come from an aerosol can.

Comments about White Lightning Trigger Chain Cleaner:
I bought this product thinking it would be a breeze to use, because I clean my chain once a week & I have 4 bikes. To use this product, you have your index finger on the trigger, your thumb on the spray nozzle while holding the can with your left hand while rotating the crank with your right. You also have to fight to hold it steady while the chain rotates. I couldn't complete 1 revolution without the chain skipping the chainwheel because it is very hard to keep the can/cleaner steady. I returned it for the old reliable Park Chain Scrubber (CM-5).

Comments about White Lightning Trigger Chain Cleaner:
I used to removed my chain to clean it. Now I use the White Lightening cleaning system and clean three time wiping the chain between cleanings. By the last cleaning the solvent comes out clean. Great product!
