    The REI Member Dividend

    Comments about Mirrycle Original Incredibell:

    When riding on greenway trails or anywhere where I mix with walkers/joggers, I think it is basic courtesy and safety to give a warning when passing from behind. A bell is a good way to do that because it is easy, can be heard from a great distance or through headphones, and most people recognize its meaning immediately. I even get an occasional "thank you" after ringing.

    However, this one only sounds one note when you thumb it, and it seems to not be noticed easily by pedestrians. I still surprise them or get very close before they notice me. The bells that make 2 notes or a "brrrring" sound are much more noticeable.

    However, it is very small and light.

    This one sits in my parts box.
