This hat is very comfortable. It fits very snug on my large head and therefore stays on well. it is very warm and yet still thin enough to fit underneath a helmet. It looks great too.

I have this beanie and the north face bones beanie. I love them both. For days that i feel like being a lighweight, this is the greatest beanie. Light, great fit, warm, and stylish. The only issue i have is i have pull down the sides to cover my ears frequently..my mistake of washing it. i think it shrunk a little and made the fitting a bit tighter than when i purchased this beanie. But i still love this beanie. cant decide which one is better tho. depends on activity and comfort at the moment.

I bought one of these on a whim 2 years ago for use while walking my dogs. It has proven to be a warm and compact hat in temperatures in the high teens. I like the compact part of it because I hate walking around with coat pockets that look like they are going to explode. This hat has the 2 characteristics I was looking for warmth and compact. I have a rather large head...I wear a 7 3/4 baseball hat and found no problems with fit. I just wish I could throw it in the washer. Dry clean only. I just bought a second one today. Finally, stay away from the $20 North Face version...not nearly as warm.

I had one. Lost it while exploring bunkers at Fort Worden in the winter. Returned to Seattle and bought another one. 'nuff said!
The beanie is soft and warm. The liner helps with comfort and warmth around the ears. I love the understated look.

I've had this hat for nearly five years and, despite one spot where a moth decided to feast on it, it's still flawless ... Warm, lightweight and packable -- I hope to get five more years out of it. It's been atop one of the highest peaks in Europe, to the moonscape of Iceland, skiing across North America and chillin' at the coffee shop more times than I can count. Great product.

I just received this hat and it is very warm! The flannel linning makes it comfortable around your face. If you have a big head, it will feel a little small. I use this hat when I travel to the east coast and on cold days here in California.

Nice Beanie, but it's a bit too tight. If you have a head on the slightly large side, go for something with a loser knit, because this beanie will give you a headache if you wear it for too long.
