Comments about Century Double Mantle Lantern:
I am building a cabin in West VA and I don't have electric yet. This lantern puts out the most light I have seen.

Comments about Century Double Mantle Lantern:
If you prefer the warm glowing light over cool harsh light this might be for you. Great for car camping at camp sites. Bright enough to provide soft light for your entire site. I like that it dosn't use toxic batteries. I crecomend using it with a distribution tree on a 5 galon tank.

Comments about Century Double Mantle Lantern:
This is a great lantern. A little flimsy, but works great. When you need it, this is far brighter than Coleman's 2 mantle lantern. Also it easily adjusts down to save fuel.
My recommendation: when you buy a propane lantern, get a case to keep it safe right then and there. I've had a devil of a time finding an aftermarket case that fits this lantern. I know Century sells a combo pack of this lantern and a plastic case for it -- if I could do it again, I'd have gotten the two together, no question. I finally went out to the garage and made a case from wood.

Comments about Century Double Mantle Lantern:
I love this lantern. It uses the double ended mantles which are easy to use and always lights on the first try.
