Comments about PacSafe 140 Security Web - X-Large:
Got this to secure our bag on a 14-day trip driving the Pacific Highway and spending time in the national parks. Knew our car would be parked at trailheads a lot of the time and that some of these would be quite isolated. So I wanted a way to lock our bag in the car.
The lock that comes with it is a keyed lock. I replaced that with a 4-combination lock, since I did not wish to carry keys on the trail.
This is the largest size PacSafe makes, but it will not fit over a 26" rolling soft-side bag. Even fitting it over a 22" soft-side carry-on was a Herculean task. For this reason, I ended up taking a duffle as my second bag and this fit that fine, since it appears it is for that it was designed. Using it over a duffle works in part because cinching it in is possible with a duffle, which will reshape easily to the inside dimensions of the PacSafe.
So, if you want this to keep a duffle safe, it's great. If you were hoping to use it with a soft-side suitcase, pass it by.
