The resistance level automatically changes on this indoor trainer to give a smooth, quiet ride--without external shifters!

  • Resistance automatically changes based on the rider's cadence and wheel speed via centrifugal force causing the internal magnets to move outward
  • Stable V-frame construction uses oversized steel tubing with an extra-wide footprint and splayed legs for stability
  • Fits all 26" to 700c wheels commonly found on mountain, road and triathlon bicycles
  • Training DVD included

    Comments about CycleOps Magneto Trainer:

Just got the unit, so have only used it once. We have a Mag trainer and got this one so we could both ride at the same time next winter. It is very similar to the Mag, easy to load and unload the bike, stable, quiet, good workout.

        Comments about CycleOps Magneto Trainer:

Good training device for the money. I use this for both winter home training and for a twice a week spinning class at the local bike shop and it has held up nicely. I haven't found it to be noisey as some other reviewers have. Easy to use, no adjustments to make for increased resistence....just peddle faster.

          Comments about CycleOps Magneto Trainer:

We bought this to use on those days the gym was too much effort. Easy to set up and use. The big drawback is the noise - it is hard to watch TV and ride at the same time without being on a high volume. We don't use it as much as we hoped we would.

This thing is so easy to set-up I was almost worried I did it wrong and was going to fall off the first time I rode it. It's great for those times when you can't get outside or when you need to catch up on an episode of Curb Your Enthusiasm but can't justify sitting on a couch to do it! The one drawback that seems unavoidable is the noise... [...]

            Comments about CycleOps Magneto Trainer:

this trainer, like many other, can get a little loud. but anyone that rides enough to use a trainer will remember that outside you tend to just hear a lot of wind so its not such a bad thing. but as far as using it goes, it works great and its really easy to set up
