          I have this Boat Loader on a Chevrolet Suburban for use with 14-foot kayaks. Have used it for about 4 years, with frequent salt-water exposure. It is holding up great. Nice for solo loading on a tall SUV, and can handle the 70-lb boats with ease.

              Comments about Yakima Boat Loader:

              I have used this product for loading two different canoes including an 81 lb grumman whitewater canoe. Its a lifesaver. Helps with preventing car scratches and simply makes loading and unloading greatly simplified. Installation was a breeze. Ie remove endcap and slide in.

                Heavy-duty, sturdy extension fits inside round Yakima bars and extends to give an extra hand when needed. Then slides back into the rack when you're done.

                This product turned the frustrating task of loading a heavy kayak onto a small SUV by myself from an overwhelming chore into a minor exercise.

                Relatively easy to install (provided your bars are not corroded inside). Very easy to use and Highly recommended.
