Comments about Kabletek Integra Flex RST Cable 3/8'' x 6' Lock:
This is so much better than my old Master combo cable lock that just fell apart in my hands and which had been a pain to use. This one is a breeze to set the new combination (about 23.5 seconds). It operates very smoothly. I can't wait to use it on my next bike ride.
And it was made in USA. That's right, we're supporting local workers!

Comments about Kabletek Integra Flex RST Cable 3/8'' x 6' Lock:
Locks only buy you time. With enough time, any lock can be defeated. This one is good for short term parking solutions like restaurants or shopping runs in high visibility areas. A thief wouldn't have much trouble cutting it if the bike was left out overnight or in an area where nobody's looking or nobody cares that someone's stealing bikes--but locks that could help you there are way less convenient to carry and use. My favorite part about this one is that it coils easily but doesn't hold a coiled shape and spring closed like those horrid cheap cable locks that most people are familiar with. For my short term parking purposes, I like the fact that there's no key to lose. It's a tad heavier than some cables, but that's the tradeoff for a little extra security.

Comments about Kabletek Integra Flex RST Cable 3/8'' x 6' Lock:
I purchased this lock couple years ago and it has given me a trouble free performance - so far.
What separates this lock from all the others is that it is still made in USA. All the other locks I looked at were "imported". I try to buy local.
In retrospect, there is no bike lock that could resist a powerful rotary cutter. Parking in well lit, safe areas is your best defense against thieves.
