I used this patch to keep my lower back muscles warm before an ice hockey game. It stayed in place and lasted until the following morning. The downside, is that it's for one time use only.

I was disappointed that the first one of these I tried didn't get more than just barely warm. They were recommended by my PT to use on the top of my shoulder to keep it warm during the day so I'm hoping the next one will reach the temperature stated on the packaging. If in fact the next one actually works, my advice would be to make sure to get more than one. I wouldn't depend on these out camping or hiking.

This warmer does exactly what it says. My son and I were backpacking in New Mexico in March with evening temps in the single digits. We each had one patch stuck to our shirts at night and they kept us warm and comfortable. They lasted the full 12 hours with plenty of heat and the adhesive kept them in place. Easy to remove and no left-over adhesive. I will always keep a couple of these in my pack and my vehicles.
