The REI Member Dividend
The REI dividend is a unique benefit of membership in the REI co-op. It's comprised of your member refund—typically 10% back on eligible purchases—and/or your REI Visa® card rebates.
Each March, active REI members and REI Visa cardholders who earned a rebate receive a refund in the form of an annual dividend notice.
Only active members receive annual dividend notices. To maintain your active status as an REI member, you need to make net merchandise or shipping purchases of at least $10 per year, unless you joined that year. Member numbers are issued in one name and only that person receives the member refund. Your number can be used by others in your family, but it cannot be transferred to someone else.

Comments about Thule Universal Snowboard Carrier:
I have owned and used this Thule rack for 7 years and it has worked great until my wife tried to scrape it off on the garage door. She didn't wait for the door to fully open. Also you have remember you have the rack on when you go into parking garages if you have your boards on top. Make sure you have enough clearance. My MDX just clears the garage doow with the boards attached. Fits easily w/o the boards on it. Also, I've never had any trouble with the boards getting dinged up. Maybe the other users aren't adjusting the rack so there is even tension on both boards. It's very easy to make the adjustment so I'm not sure why that would be the problem.

Comments about Thule Universal Snowboard Carrier:
I teach skiing & boarding and have 2 sets of these racks. One for each SUV. The problem with this rack is if you are caring 2 boards you must push the hold down cable backwards to get the back board in the top slot. When you do that the cable comes out of it's hold down slot and falls on the roof of the car. You then have to deal with trying to get the cable back in the slot while the rack is installed which is not easy. I've put duck tape around the tops of each rack to keep the cable from coming off.

Comments about Thule Universal Snowboard Carrier:
I've had no trouble with this carrier. I like it because it saves space when I use it with my Thule 4 snowboard carrier. Unlike the other reviewer, I've never seen any damage done to my snowboard with the carrier. The only problem I have with it is that it 'feels' cheap and unstable. Other than that, I have no other complaints.

Comments about Thule Universal Snowboard Carrier:
I drove with my snowboards attached to this product for a cumulative of less than 50 miles. The low base point where the snowboards sits will chaffe terribly. It cracked the clear coat and rubbed all the way down to the wood on my brand new snowboard. It takes the road vibration and puts it into two major stress points on your board... On the side and at an angle. Snowboards aren't designed for that! If you care for your snowboard don't by this product.
