REI Members get back an estimated $ 5.00 on this item as part of their annual member refund.

    The REI Member Dividend

The REI dividend is a unique benefit of membership in the REI co-op. It's comprised of your member refund—typically 10% back on eligible purchases—and/or your REI Visa® card rebates.

Each March, active REI members and REI Visa cardholders who earned a rebate receive a refund in the form of an annual dividend notice.

Only active members receive annual dividend notices. To maintain your active status as an REI member, you need to make net merchandise or shipping purchases of at least $10 per year, unless you joined that year. Member numbers are issued in one name and only that person receives the member refund. Your number can be used by others in your family, but it cannot be transferred to someone else.

Snow Peak Titanium 3-Piece Cookset is rated 4.5 out of 5 by 2.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great little kit I've used this kit for years. On solo trips what I do is jsut take one pot and the plate/cover, and put a beer can stove and a tripod stand I made out of a coat hangar together in there. I don't remember the weight, but it's a very svelte and functional setup. The plate/cover serves as a pre-heating burn plate for the alcohol stove, and if you bend the stand right the pot stays stable filled with liquid. Unfortunately my setup was stolen, so I'm here to buy another one.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good for what it is I went through a titanium everything phase. Naturally, this was the cook set I bought. I think I've had mine for nearly 8 years now, and I use it less and less. Pros: Titanium and light weight. Cons: The handles are not ideally designed. They are a little flimsy and when the bowl is full of food they bend a little. The pieces fit together nicely, but do not really clasp together, so if you don't have the set in a net whey will separate in your pack. Also, nothing holds the handles retracted so the net is needed for that as well. The pan really isn't large enough to cook anything. I've found that I pretty much only use the one bowl in the set, and now with my Jetboil I use it less and less often. I'm more likely now to just bring a MSR plastic bowl to eat out of because its cheaper, more durable and easier to clean. If I know that I'll need a pot to cook in (like in a fire), I'll bring the bigger bowl by itself. I'd rather have a little bit heavier of a bowl/pot for that purpose with a more substantial handle. If you want a three-piece titanium set, this is good and I'd recommend it for that. But note that the fact that it is titanium alone does not automatically make this the best set to have. You may be better off getting a single, better built pot with a little more weight.
