by blackdog51fromDoes what it's supposed to do.These are designed to be used with the Kelty Noah's Tarp and they do that well. I have rigged the tarp with one and two poles and they are tough. They should be, given their OD. They are bulky and not to be confused with lightweight tent poles. For their intended purpose they are great. BTW, the Noah's Tarp can also be rigged with walking sticks but with reduced headroom.

by LJNicholsfromGreat qualityI used 2 of these with my Kingdom 6 Vestibule to prop it open for shade against the sun. I purchased them last minute before a car camping trip and I'm glad I had them along. When all of the shade on our site disappeared and I could hide from the sun no longer, I grabbed my poles, some guyline, adjusters and tent stakes and rigged up a cover to sit under. They seem very sturdy.

by JentheBrilliantfromGreat POLEWell first of all, I should clarify that this product is just one individual pole. For whatever reason, I was expecting two of them... maybe because of the price, but oh well. The pole is larger in width than I had anticipated, it's essentially an inch in diameter. Make note of the weight because they aren't for backpacking or hiking, it's pretty heavy so it's pretty sturdy. You can adjust the size of it so that's nice. I'm guessing I will probably buy another one eventually, maybe wait for a sale :)
