The REI Member Dividend
The REI dividend is a unique benefit of membership in the REI co-op. It's comprised of your member refund—typically 10% back on eligible purchases—and/or your REI Visa® card rebates.
Each March, active REI members and REI Visa cardholders who earned a rebate receive a refund in the form of an annual dividend notice.
Only active members receive annual dividend notices. To maintain your active status as an REI member, you need to make net merchandise or shipping purchases of at least $10 per year, unless you joined that year. Member numbers are issued in one name and only that person receives the member refund. Your number can be used by others in your family, but it cannot be transferred to someone else.

Comments about Yakima SKS Lock Cores - Package of 6:
I loved my Yakima roof rack for the months I had it. I bought the locks new with everything, and it was always locked. Turns out that won't stop a thief. Someone actually dented the roof of my car and managed to leverage the entire, locked assembly off the car in just a matter of minutes, in broad daylight, on a busy city street. Far as I know, the locks held up (I don't think there would've been time for all to be picked) but if they can't stop the entire assembly from walking away, that's kind of a problem. So, my advise is to be wary, and take your rack off when you're not using it. If you look online you'll find hundreds of stories like mine, where racks were locked and securely installed, but stolen off a car in just minutes.
I do have to say, however, that Yakima offered excellent customer service to me the entire time I worked with them, and any future racks I buy will also be Yakima. There's something to be said about good service.

Comments about Yakima SKS Lock Cores - Package of 6:
First off, These locks offer necessary protection that secures your gear but it is not the ultimate security so be cautious... secondly they have worked well for me, occasionally the key sticks (not a huge problem but it's something that gets to me) Finally, I have locks for almost every yakima system I own because the added security is a plus to ensure my gear. FOR EXTRA SECURITY a cable or U-Lock will do the trick =)
Happy Trails

Comments about Yakima SKS Lock Cores - Package of 6:
This is a nice upgrade for newer Yakima products. Having all of your locks keyed the same is obviously nicer than having to fumble through a key ring filled with different keys. I picked up this 6-pack to add locks to my towers and to re-key my 16S box. I probably should have gotten the 8-pack to be ready for the next Yakima purchase, but the price of the 6-pack was hard enough to swallow...
I'd have given this a 5-star rating if it weren't for the price. Overall, a good product which does exactly what it's supposed to do. No complaints (other than the price).

Comments about Yakima SKS Lock Cores - Package of 6:
The SKS locks, with the right accessories, allow you lock your rack and accessories either to the rack or the accessory itself. By using the core locks, you only need to keep one key with you to unlock these items. The key code is stamped on the inside of the lock core to prevent someone from trying to match a key with your core lock. A much better system than their old locking system. All in all, a very convenient and secure system.
