I selected REI to purchase 10 cotton bandanas because it said product was made in the U.S.A. Eight that I received were made in the U.S.A. the other 2 (Hunter Green and Kahki were made in CHINA). I checked on-line and it states item is made in the U.S.A. The quality is poor and was not cut correctly so it is not a perfec square. BEWARE!

this product is absolutedly amazing!!! i can wear it just about anywhere i go. theyre so cheap so you can get the best one for whatever occasion. you see im a skateboarding and i tend to sweat a wee bit too much but when i where this it basically just stops the sweating altogether!!!
i also love to hike in the southwest and it gets so hot down then if you just get it a little wet ur al set!!! it keeps you nice and cool.
there are also so many other uses too,

A bandana is the outdoorsman's #1 necessity. It isnt bulky like a hat yet can still keep sun off your head. It can be used to filter air in dusty trail conditions. It can be used to prefilter any dirty water. A simple bandana can be used to save a life if need-be. Plus its super lightweight, affordable, compactible, and generally useful. I always keep one in my jeep.

This could be possibly one of the most important Backpacking tools, why?
1. While damp it can be used to lower temperature on a hot day by wrapping a damp bandana around the neck it helps cool the neck and artery blood flow, which keeps you more comfortable.
2. To mask face from breathing dust
3. A clean bandana can be used to clean a wound
These are but a few of the many many uses for a simple humble bandana.

I use bandanas constantly, and these used to be a great deal; good quality, [...]bandanas. Now REI has switched over to[...] bandanas, and they are poor quality. The material seems thinner and the stitching is definitely not as good. And I may be wrong, but it seems the dye is not as good either. I have stopped buying them at REI; I used to buy about a dozen a year.Please change back to your old supplier, I would gladly pay a few bucks more for better quality, [...] bandanas!!!

There isn't a whole lot to say, it's a bandana! Can use it to filter dust out of air you are breathing, attach a splint to a limb, dress a wound (if it's clean), and so much more. It weighs practically nothing and costs less, no reason not to have a few of these in your pack.

I can not believe how much more comfortable these make a run or hike out here in AZ, and tell my friends that the best peice of gear I own was only [$]. I use these for just about anything. I try to get a new one once a year and I use them in almost every sport I participate in. They're great to have on the bike trail when it gets dusty, on a hiking trail to keep the sweat out of your eyes and off your face, and just about anywhere else.
Always have a couple of these in your pack just in case, you never know when you will need to wrap an ankle or tie something up. MacGyver would be proud.
