Comments about Outdoor Research Omni Gloves:
These gloves have excellent durability and are really warm. They are so warm that I often save them for the coldest trips. I have several different pairs of thin gloves that I use for xcountry and back country skiing and others shred after a season. With a little Goop, I am looking forward to sweating it out in these gloves for a third winter. Only downside for me is the silly day-glo grips are too good at times to make small adjustments in my pole grip quickly. Good gloves; I am reluctant to give then a '5' though since I don't believe in perfect ratings

Comments about Outdoor Research Omni Gloves:
I bought these for a recent winter photography trip to Yellowstone. I thought they would be useful, because I seem to always lose my glove liners in the predawn when we are out for a sunrise shoot. The glow in the dark feature worked well, even after just a short time under a lamp in the hotel room. The gloves were thin enough to wear under mitts but heavy enough to stand alone on most days when I needed to handle photo equipment. And the grips helped me keep a firm hand on my gear. I don't know about durability since I have only used them on one trip, but I am buying a second pair to keep in my camera bag!

Comments about Outdoor Research Omni Gloves:
The glow in the dark grips on the palm are white. This is not apparent at all in the picture here.
While it looks a little goofy the glow is very good and shows up even when the gloves have been in the dark for hours. I'm not completely sold on the usefulness of this, but it is nice to be able to tell which hand which glove goes on in the dark.
My biggest problem is that after only wearing them a few times one of the seams started breaking and they now have a hole in the side.
I am going to have to return these and I will not be getting the same gloves again.

Comments about Outdoor Research Omni Gloves:
I took three pairs of gloves up Mount Rainier this summer, and these are the only gloves I used from the parking lot to the summit. Great gloves, I love their versatility and I really dig the grippy texture on the palms.
