Comments about Primus TechnoTrail II Stove with Piezo Igniter:
I own 5 stoves, and this is the one I use most. It is all about convenience. In group situations, I am always cooking before my friends get their stoves assembled, primed, and started.
The only disadvantages are that air taxi operators, who will carry white gas and kerosene, will not accept pressurized butane. This required a last minute stove and fuel change on a trip to the Brooks Range last year. Also, below freezing, the fuel canisters loose pressure and the gaskets can occasionally lose their seal and leak overnight, leaving you with a cold breakfast.

Comments about Primus TechnoTrail II Stove with Piezo Igniter:
I had a multi-fuel stove before buying this one. The difference is amazing. Sets up quickly, and love that piezo igniter. I used to leave the old stove running when not cooking just because it was such a pain to relight. Now I don't hesitate to turn it off as soon as my water heats because it's so easy to turn it back on when I need it again. The gas canisters are more expensive, but I figure I save on not burning fuel in between heating needs. The stove folds up into such a small package that it can be stored inside a drinking cup. Good value for the price.

I have never had a problem with this stove. Lights first time, everytime, even in strong winds. Boils water FAST! A little unstable if you can't find a good level spot.

Comments about Primus TechnoTrail II Stove with Piezo Igniter:
I've used the Techno Trail II in the Rocky Mountains, Ozarks,Ouachita National Forest, and in other wilderness areas. I've used it during thunderstorms and in snow. It always lights the first time. It is easy to pack and so small that I always doublecheck to ensure that I have packed it and not left it at home! Water boils quickly. I don't have a single complaint.

Several years ago when I bought this stove from [...], it was recommended by Backpacker Magazine. Since then I have used this stove on many Backpacking trips. It sets up fast. No messing around with liquid fuel...just screw on a canister. Lights very easily and burns hot. Has never let me down.

I've used this stove on numerous occasions and it works like a charm. It's so small and light, sometimes I forget where it is in my backpack. The piezo igniter always lites the stove each time.

Comments about Primus TechnoTrail II Stove with Piezo Igniter:
As far as I can tell, the TSA doesn't like liquid fuel stoves that have been used. So if you travel by air to your hiking destination, it seems the solution is to use a gas/butane stove and buy the cannister when you arrive at your destination.
My Primus will heat the 2+ cups of water to make a freeze dried meal in only a few minutes and with the piezo igniter, it's so easy to restart that you aren't tempted to keep it on like you would with the old Coleman white gas stove.

Comments about Primus TechnoTrail II Stove with Piezo Igniter:
perfect little stove. Easy and quick to set up and weighs almost nothing. The electric igniter makes it super easy to use and get started. Perfect for a backpacking meal at the end of the day, or a hot cup of tea on a cold snowy adventure. This little stove and its warmth has kept me going on the coldest backcountry days.

Comments about Primus TechnoTrail II Stove with Piezo Igniter:
the stove is simple, compact and sweetly easy to set up quickly. It boils water or heats veggies in no time; but pots/pans must be small enough for the limited space and balance. 20oz of water for a mug in a saucepan is about what it can handle, but does the job reliably well.
