Utilizing a silicone-type fabric treatment to reduce weight while maintaining strength, 70-denier Siloxane fabric also ensures water repellency
X-2™ suspension uses hollow X-shaped aluminum stays and a perforated polyethylene framesheet for maximum support with minimum weight
Highly breathable molded E-VAP™ backpanel uses perforated foam, which eliminates excess weight and circulates air through air channels
Lightweight, active-cut contoured hipbelt with three-point closure and natural forward pulling tightening motion
Top-loading main compartment features a roll-top lid-closure system for easy packing and weatherproofing
Large front mesh stash pocket with quick-pull front cord compression can securely hold a climbing helmet
Two large side zippered pockets; right side has a water-bottle keeper, left side has a rain cover divider
Included rain cover protects your pack from sudden downpours, tuck-away in side pocket when not in use
Front top zippered pocket has a clip for keys and room for small essentials such as money, ID, sunglasses and more
Front tool loop, trekking pole loops and attachment points

Comments about The North Face Skareb 40 Pack:

Traveling to a new location every day and never knowing quite what I need to be ready for I was looking for a light versatile pack to keep at the ready and lug my junk to and from my car. The Skareb is just the ticket and keeps my back comfy when I have to lug it all through an airport. I would have liked a slightly larger capacity but I've yet to fail to pack enough for a weekend (including my laptop) into this one bag.
