Comments about Buff Wear:
When I started chemotherapy, this scarf was recommended by another cancer patient. It is easy to slip on rather than trying to tie a regular scarf so it looks good on your bald(ing) head. It's warm, protects the scalp from sun (very important during treatment), and cool during the summer. It also wicks away moisture when you sweat. I have 4 different styles and love them all. I've even wear them to bed when my head feels cold. My hair is growing back now, but I still wear them when I walk my dogs to protect my scalp. And I'll probably wear them after I have a full head of hair back, just because they're so versatile. A great head solution for cancer patients.

This Buff Headwear is awesome! I sweat very bad on my head and face. This absorbed almost all of the sweat from dripping in my eyes.
It is also great for keeping sun off your head and ears. I also wore it as a dust mask as we were in the sub-sahara sand storms.
Highly recomended, easy to wash. I am buying more!

Comments about Buff Wear:
Was hoping for something different, but will work okay. (I ordered it online). Very compact for light traveling/hiking. Excellent for a little extra added warmth and for hot days to keep the perspiration out of your eyes. The only real cons are the price (A little too expensive for a piece of seamless polyester that has been cut into a tube) and the fact that it is seamless although that's a benefit to keep it from chaffing. The "raw" unfinished edges look like they will come apart rather easily and actually are a little ragged straight out of the shipping box. I would purchase another one if the price came down. If it wasn't for that this would of been rated a 4.

I saw these in REI's catalog and had to try them! I went to the store, tried one on, and was immediately so thrilled I bought 2! I don't regret it!! These are the PERFECT accessory for camping and hiking. I have very fine hair which means I always have strands either blowing in my eyes or getting stuck to my face whenever we're out hiking...drives me nuts!! I've tried clips, headbands, bandanas...nothing stays put while I'm being active. THESE DON'T BUDGE! It's wonderful. There are so many cute ways to wear them. They are stretchy but don't feel tight. My hair also gets very oily fast so these save me when I'm out backpacking and don't wash it for several days. I practically didn't take it off on our last trip...just switched between the 2 colors. :) I'm getting one for each of my girlfriends for Christmas...

One of the most versatile - and comfortable - pieces of gear I own. Yeah, gear. It's that indispensable. An 11th essential. It's either on my head or in a waist pack for any long distance, high-output aerobic mountain activity. It's my main lid for spring ski mountaineering, and I've used it as a skull cap for x-c ski races, a face mask/neck gaitor for lift-served skiing.
But mostly it's a headliner/skull cap for cycling. Can start out on a frosty early morning mountain ride, hit triple-digit temps in the valley bottoms, and climb back up to 50 degree temps on the passes, and Buff makes the transitions beautifully. Dip it in an icy mountain stream, put it on your noggin, and you're in business, and it's dry before you need it to keep your ears warm.
But wait, there's more.
This summer rode over a 9000' pass into the Tahoe Basin, which was still steeped in smoke haze from recent fires in South Shore. Didn't want to end my ride shy of the Lake, but didn't want to inhale particles, either. Then I remembered the transformer on my head. Buff converted from headliner to face mask in a jif, and I continued my ride without incurring lung damage.
It's one of those rare pieces of gear that make you feel smart for having bought it.

I use this mostly as my "Dew Rag"/headgear when riding. But when the afternoon sun hits me in the face or extremely cold mornings I pull it down on my neck and then up over my nose and face and it keeps the sun from burning my face and/or the cold wind from frostbiting me. A great piece of very versatile gear. I am going tomorrow and get two more.

Hi!I'm a travel writer/photographer that just spent 6 months moving through the heart of Africa. I accidently found The Buff [...]right before I took off for my latest adventure. I love it. It kept me cool in the scorching heat, and warm on cool nights, plus it gives one a distinguished appearance! I'm now heading for Russia, so the real cold test is about to happen!Bottom line; It's worth the money..

I love this company so,so much. I saw them at a Bike Show at Navy Pier in Chicago 2005.I was hooked.I bought 1 there. [...]. Looked in the search zone. I bought 2 more. My sister found the website and sent me 2 more. I wear them really everywhere, everyday, always. They wash well, pack easiely. On the back,of the package shows you can wear it 15 different ways. When you get your hair wet,put the buff on and it stays snug to your head. They go great under my bike helemet.Under your hats, caps. Much better than bandanas or scarfs. Also they won't blow off your hair. And they come in polar fleece for the winter time. I wear the cap style and the saharine that's when you pull it on and flop the top over the back of your neck, let it hang. But I stack it on the top, fold back and it stays. My best bad hairday girlfriend.[$] is the great price for something so smart, practable.I'll add more to my collection.

I used the Buff for the first time in the boundary waters as a scarf (it was cold, water temp 42!), but also as a hoodie under my baseball cap. Then when it got windy, I wore it over my cap so I wouldn't lose it. I wore it as sun protection, and to keep my fine hair from flying into my eyes as I paddled across the wilderness. . . it's also great to keep bugs off your face, too!
I am buying another one because I LOVE it SO much!!!
Service and delivery comments:
Bought my first one from PlanetBuff.com, the original makers of the buff. Don't buy ripoffs, their material is not nearly as good and the edges seem worn right away. Get the REAL thing! Check out the POLAR buffs, too! Way awesome.

I have owned my Buff for 6 months and have had the chance to test it in snow, rain, overcast and sun. I am happy to say that my Buff has lived up to it's reputation. I use it for everything! In casual situations, backpacking/hiking, rock climbing, at work, and snow activities. I love the diversity of the Buff! My only problems are it gets easily lost (my fault I know) and that it doesn't breathe enough (especially if you double back it for a beanie or to reduce its length). I am going to get another one for myself and my friends! A great gift or personal purchase! A+ all-round.
