Comments about Bison Designs Capsule Keychain:
This is a nice little machined and anodized aluminum tube which is watertight, airtight and is ostensibly designed to carry a small supply of pills.
Because it is so small, unobtrusive, lightweight, it can be easily be used as a key fob, zipper pull, worn as a pendant, or easily be secreted in a thousand different places.
What I find this capsule to be perfectly suited to is to carry a small amount of emergency cash. I fold like a $20 bill in half, then in quarter length-wise, and then, starting from one end, I roll it up into a tiny cylinder. This cylinder fits perfectly into the end cap of this capsule holder. Then you can screw the whole thing closed.
As another bonus, most people don't even notice it or don't know what it's for, and so ignore it.
I find that this little stash of cash attached to my keyring has saved me on numerous occasions. Sometimes, I forget my wallet, or I forgot to go to the ATM. Sometimes I unexpectedly get invited to lunch, or get stuck somewhere and need bus/cab fare. Whatever the exigency, having this extra hidden cash is both handy and give me peace of mind. I think $20 is about the right amount BTW. I tried 50s and 100s and both were often too large to easily break.

Comments about Bison Designs Capsule Keychain:
I use it for medicine. It could be a little bigger. If you put a couple headache pills for instance, you can barely get 2 in. Large vitamins or such.. 1. Otherwise, great for someone who needs an occasional pill, like allergy or headaches, etc. Put it on your key ring and you'll always have it with you. My parents need daily medicine and this is great for that in case you forgot and are out for the day. It's very worth the price.

I bought this to carry around my allergy pills and a few aspirin. It's small and light enough that it doesn't overload my keychain (which already has plenty of stuff). Waterproofness is a bonus as well. A friend liked it and I'm picking up 2 of these for him on my next REI visit.

Comments about Bison Designs Capsule Keychain:
This seemed like an excellent keychain pill container to me - tiny, holds just one or two doses, and durable-looking.
Turns out it's not that durable at all. The finish on my capsule started rubbing off after a week of daily wear, which would have been fine, if the flimsy split-ring loop on the lid hadn't bent apart so much that it started to fall off. The hole is too small to fit it onto a regular-size ring, unfortunately. It's also a little smaller inside than I thought, would not hold an average multivitamin, and only held one of my daily capsules.
If this thing was two dollars, I wouldn't have wasted my money. But it's four, so I lose!

I have about 15-20 of these guys on various packs, in the car and on my keyrings. I use them to replace the zipper pulls on my packs and load them with Ibuprofen, Acetaminophen, Imodium, Loratadine and even cash. Each one in a different color (No, I wont tell you which color I keep the $$$ in.) The best part is fully stuffed they way 3-5 grams each and are very water tight. My only complant is I wish they made more colors and sizes...
