Comments about Cocoon Ripstop Silk Bag Liner/Travel Sheet:
I have had my silk cocoon for several years, and it has help up well. It takes up little space and is easy to pack/unpack.
It is part of my airline travel kit, it keeps me warm while sleeping on flights and in airports on layovers, without overheating me.
It also makes a nice cover to keep the flies off while napping on the beach or forcing you to sleep in the sand.
Another use for it is as an ultralight sleeping bag inside my Hennessey Expedition hammock or ENO Eagle's Nest hammock while camping in tropical conditions.

Comments about Cocoon Ripstop Silk Bag Liner/Travel Sheet:
For the price to be so steep it's hard to imagine spending that much money on 6 oz. of silk, but if convenience and comfort, along with very light weight, is your goal then here is the 'bedding' for you.
I live in FL and hiking there can be down right sauna-ish! You can lay around and not feel sticky or clammy but still have comfort and that wrapped up feeling. The added bonus.... stick the thing in your mummy bag on the cold northern trips and you've got smooth comfortable added warmth. Somehow I don't see a problem with that!
One thing which I will test out, but haven't yet, is trying to tear it. It does feel a little flimsy and easy to tear but hasn't happened yet.

Comments about Cocoon Ripstop Silk Bag Liner/Travel Sheet:
We've just finished 4 months cycle touring using this every night. We had 110+ heat with 87+humidity and it was actually more comfortable with the sleep sack than with nothing. Roomy, dries fast, throw it in the washer and dryer.

Comments about Cocoon Ripstop Silk Bag Liner/Travel Sheet:
The sheet preformed great. Very nice for sleeping in humid locations. It doesn't bind, one can flip/flop easily. The stuff sack is not durable, it ripped after one weeks restuffing.

Comments about Cocoon Ripstop Silk Bag Liner/Travel Sheet:
I bought two of these for my husband and I to use to protect our sleeping bags, and as a lightweight bag for summer cycling or camping trips. At the beginning, they worked well, protected our bags, held up well, and were just what we wanted for size and weight. However, after less than 20 nights, they were both tearing along the seams, at the foot box, and where the drawstring was attached. After 30 nights, we had to discontinue using them as they were totally ripped along the seam lines.
I was very disappointed with the life of these liners and would not recommend them. I ALWAYS washed them in a delicate cycle and took very good care of them.
