A. Log in to your registry and choose the "Send E-mail Announcements" option.
Q. If I create a gift registry, will you be sending me a lot of e-mail?
A. After you create a registry, we'll send you a single confirmation e-mail. You can also choose to receive additional e-mail notifications about your registry. If you choose to receive these updates, we'll send you a reminder 30 days before your event and 14 days after your event.
Q. What if I don't want my gift registry available over the Internet?
A. On the Guest Access and Notification page, choose the "No-Internet" option. Your gift registry list will then only be available to guests at REI stores.
Q. What personal information can others see online?
Q. How quickly is my gift registry updated?
A. When a family member or friend buys something from your registry online, the update will appear within minutes of the transaction. For store purchases, updates take approximately one hour.
Q. How long will my gift registry be available to me and my guests?
A. Your gift registry will be available for one full year after the event date.
How do I check my gift card balance?
Use our Online Balance Inquiry feature to check the balance on your REI gift card, merchandise credit or refund voucher.
What’s the difference between the REI Gift Registry and a Wish List?
A Gift Registry is generally tied to a date-specific event such as a wedding or birthday. We track items your friends and family purchase from the registry. A Wish List, on the other hand, is designed for your personal use. Because your friends or family can’t find your wish list through the REI website, it’s up to you to share it with them. Is gift boxing available for Gift Registry items?
Yes. At Checkout, just indicate that you are sending items as gifts. You'll then be able to choose among several gift-delivery options, including gift boxing and adding a personalized note.
