Pleasant Creek Wildlife Management Area
This place should be named Pleasant Campground. Meandering along a ridge, this camping area is laid out with good sites in mind and no worries about cramming too many campers in too little area. Tygart Lake, an Army Corps of Engineers impoundment, is just a half mile away. There is good hiking, fishing, and wildlife viewing in the Wildlife Management Area. The more developed facilities of Tygart Lake State Park are just a boat ride or short drive away from Pleasant Creek.
