Lake-filled alpine scenery in one of the last roadless areas in the northern Whitefish Range. The Ten Lakes Scenic Area gets buried with snow, so don’t attempt this hike before July. Some of the lakes in this area receive heavy summer use, so if you’re staying overnight, be sure to set up a zero-impact camp. The area still has a few resident grizzlies, so be bear aware.
