The Meadow Creek Trail provides an alternate route to reach the East Fork of the Blackfoot River. The trail features a long, hard climb over the steep outer ranges of the Scapegoat to reach the headwaters of Meadow Creek. For this reason, it is recommended as a route out of the wilderness, but is a tough haul as an entrance route.
