A chance to view or climb 12,799-foot Granite Peak, the highest point in Montana. The first leg of the Granite Peak adventure is getting up to Mystic Lake, which offers some spectacular scenery with the unusual twist of being able to observe how the Mystic Lake Power Station was built. This is a popular day hike, so don’t expect to have this lake (or any part of this hike, in fact) to yourself.
