Glen Lake is a beautiful high mountain lake surrounded by steep, serrated cliffs. The lake sits in a bowl below these towering mountains. It is a steady uphill climb to Glen Lake. Rising high in the southwest is Gash Point at an elevation of 8,886 feet. The trail borders, then enters, the Selway-Bitterroot Wilderness.
