The Gallagator Trail follows the route of the Gallagator Railroad Line, which took passengers between Bozeman and the Gallatin Gateway and abandoned in the late 1930s. The path begins at Burke Park at the base of Peets’ Hill and crosses several bridges over Sourdough Creek and Mathew Bird Creek. The trail ends at a picnic area by the Museum of the Rockies. There are several street crossings along the route.
