Three miles of tedious forest travel provide a rather monotonous introduction for the Canyon Falls Trail. The cataracts themselves do not possess the classic vertical plunge of Niagara Falls but instead feature an impressive 400-foot drop down a polished bedrock sluice. It should come as little surprise that the trail receives very heavy weekend use. Highlights: A large waterfall and views of Canyon Peak from Canyon and Wyant lakes.
