Spectacular scenery and good rock climbing. There’s a tendency to think that hiking is something you do to get somewhere. In Blodgett Canyon no object is necessary beyond the hike itself. Just a hundred yards from the vehicle, you will be walking along a beautiful stream and looking up at spectacular canyon walls. These basic scenic ingredients continue throughout the hike. Because there is no need to get to any particular point, a hike up Blodgett Canyon is ideal for families and anyone who enjoys unhurried walking with lots of pleasant stops.
