Robert E. Lee Park: Serpentine–Bare Hills
Follow an old rail bed along the Jones Falls to Lake Roland and back. Climb over the guardrail and head right. Unless there are drought conditions, it’s more than likely this beginning section will be full of mud. If it’s really bad, a parallel trail heads uphill to the left and eventually rejoins the trail in approximately a quarter-mile when it rises above the low-lying area. Once above the floodplain, the trail runs along the rail bed of the now-defunct Baltimore and Susquehanna Railroad.
