West Creek Falls
McGraw Ranch, one of the oldest in this area, was established in 1874. Cow Creek gained its name soon after, presumably from the stock on the ranch. Various architectural details of the ranch structures make good photo subjects and backgrounds for portraits. Even a century ago, it was obvious that catering to tourists made more economic sense than catering to cows. McGraw Ranch enabled many guests to experience the beauty of its out-of-the-way valley.
