Mount Richthofen Summit Trail
Willey Lumber Camp, CO

Mount Richthofen Summit Trail
If you’ve never been to the Never Summer Range, you owe it to yourself to check out the spectacular terrain that defines the region. Before you even set foot on the trail, you’re treated to views of the sinister-looking Nokhu Crags, a collection of crooked spires and crumbling towers that loom west of the access trail. Lake Agnes is a glacial lake surrounded by an amphitheater of boulders. In direct sunlight, the water glows a translucent green hue. As you gain the west ridge, these sights become even more impressive. The final scramble to the top involves a “secret” notch on the north face.
