Middle St. Vrain Trail
This area features multiple campgrounds, a beautiful mountain stream, access to Buchanan Pass, and some Indian Peak summits. It is an easy trek on a heavily used trail, starts on the road, and then parallels it from across Middle St. Vrain Creek, while passing through rolling, heavily forested terrain. It is wise to arrive early to avoid the large weekend crowds, or visit the area midweek.
