Indian Peaks Wilderness: Mount Audubon Trail
Hikers reach Mount Audubon by a strenuous march straight up to 13,000 feet from 10,000 feet. The hike’s trailhead may be enough beautiful alpine scenery for some, but the higher panoramic alpine views and alpine lakes are quite rewarding. Those who take this challenge will be above tree line for most of the hike and exposed to alpine elements and tundra.
