Fall River Pass to Milner Pass
One of the easiest and most pleasant trails in Rocky Mountain National Park is relatively uncrowded because of logistical complications in arranging transportation at both ends of the trail. All downhill, a stroll along the 1918–1932 road route from Fall River Pass to Milner Pass follows a very easy grade. If you cannot work out a car shuttle to put wheels on both ends of the trail, the way back up to Fall River Pass from midway down at Forest Canyon Pass is not terribly steep. Highlights: Alpine tundra, easy downhill hike, good views of Never Summer Range.
