Enchanted Mesa and McClintock Nature Trails
The Enchanted Mesa and McClintock Nature Trails combine to make an easy, well-maintained loop (spiced with a few steep sections, both up and down) that meanders through a lovely woodland and features great views of the high plains and the famous Flatirons. The loop is ideal for young ones, given its short length and relatively easy inclines. For those who need a little coaxing, promise a treat on a picnic rock in the woods at the apex of the trail. It is all downhill from there, and the latter part of the hike follows an interpretive trail with signs describing area flora and fauna.
