Boulder Canyon / Creek Trails
This hike follows an old railroad grade through lower Boulder Canyon. The dirt path is wide and used by a variety of non-motorized visitors. Boulder Pioneer Trail interpretive signs along this section enlighten users about Boulder’s colorful past. Walking along Boulder Creek below the canyon walls provides a different perception than driving. Rock climbers can be seen scaling popular routes just off the trail. The path becomes paved and exits the canyon through Eben G. Fine Park then continues along past various public buildings, Central Park, the Dushanbe Teahouse, and Old Main on the University of Colorado campus.
