Boreas Pass Road Trail
This dirt-and-gravel road is passable for passenger cars that can handle rocks, bumps, and a steep climb. The pass offers superb views of part of South Park, the Tarryall Mountains, Breckenridge, and the Ten Mile range. I suggest you mountain bike it, but you will share the road with lots of vehicles unless you start at the crack of dawn. The pass is a treat that also gives you the easiest access to Bald Mountain and Boreas Peak, both 13ers.
