We thought we'd take this opportunity to explain more about this tremendous benefit. Member Refund 101 While anyone can shop at REI, only members get a portion of their eligible full-price purchases back every year.* Our goal is to return an annual refund of up to 10% to our members. We've been giving member refunds in the form of annual dividend notices every year since the co-op began in 1938. Calculate your member refund Redeeming Your Dividend It's a snap to use your dividend notice when making purchases at REI.com, at REI stores and by phone (1-800-426-4840). You'll also have the option of redeeming your dividend notice for cash. How to redeem your refund Learn more about your REI dividend or contact our Membership Services team directly.
